Ellen joined Overaa in 2006 and since then, she has helped it grow into a $400M company with 500 employees and more than 40 concurrent construction, preconstruction, and development projects.
As Chief Financial Officer, Ellen is responsible for corporate services including: finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, and risk management. She specializes in budget analysis and control, as well as forecasting. Prior to joining Overaa, Ellen worked in the maritime industry for more than 15 years in a variety of finance and accounting management roles.
Not only is Ellen usually the smartest person in the room, but she is also the most considerate and humble person you’ll ever meet. At Overaa, she is also known as chief cat feeder to the four strays that live in our prefabrication yard.
